A former intern at GCHQ which is the UK's intelligence, security and cyber agency has been sentenced to seven and a half years in
prison for copying and
transferring top secret files to his
personal devices. This is a move that can endangered
national security. The threat actor is a 25-year-old computer science student who used his mobile phone to bypass workplace controls
and smuggle classified data out of a secure government facility. He connected his phone to his workstation and copied top-secret
material and then
took the phone home and transferred the files to his personal desktop. His case highlights one of the most dangerous
