Job Responsibility
- Requirements Analysis & Gathering
Engage with internal teams, funding bodies, and legal stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate requirements.
Translate business and legal requirements into technical specifications for AI solutions.
- Sovereign Funding & Compliance
Support the preparation of funding applications, proposals, and compliance documentation.
Ensure projects comply with relevant data protection, intellectual property, and regulatory frameworks.
- Business & Legal Alignment
Conduct impact analysis to ensure technology development aligns with business objectives and legal obligations.
Assess and document risks, especially in relation to funding mechanisms, procurement, and AI governance.
- Project Support & Delivery
Work with product managers, engineers, and legal advisors to track deliverables and outcomes.
Produce high-quality reports, process maps, and business cases to support decision-making.
- Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business/legal stakeholders.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management and funding partners.

Educational Requirement
Familiarity with AI ethics, data sovereignty, and international technology policy.
Knowledge of sovereign wealth funds, R&D funding, or public-sector procurement.
Experience in contract negotiation, intellectual property, or technology law.
Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary teams.

Experience Requirement
Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role within public sector or technology-driven projects.
Background in Law (e.g., LLB, LLM, or equivalent) combined with Business/ Management knowledge.
Understanding of AI technologies, digital transformation, and regulatory issues.
Experience in funding applications, compliance processes, or governance frameworks.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, BPMN, UML).
